Tom Slot is a New York based playwright, actor, director, composer, lyricist, book writer, sound designer, and producer. He also writes, records, and performers original music. Tom earned his MFA in Acting from Columbia University studying under Andrei Serban, Kristin Linklater, and Ann Bogart. Tom has taught acting at Teachers College at Columbia University, Queens College, Overlea High School, and The Queens School of Inquiry. Tom currently runs the drama program at Fox Lane High School. He is a member of The Dramatist Guild. He served as the artistic director for Original Binding Productions for five years and was also a member of The Articulate Theatre Company. In his free time, Tom enjoys running marathons and half-marathons and spending time with his wonderful wife Jessica and their son.
